Job Summary
The Finance Intern will support the financial operations of Norrenberger Securities by ensuring accurate record-keeping, effective management of financial transactions, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Job Details
- Assist with daily accounting and finance operations.
- Prepare and post accounting entries under supervision.
- Support the processing of invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting processes.
- Prepare schedules and working papers for audits and statutory reporting.
- Assist in monitoring budgets and tracking departmental expenditures.
Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional Qualification: Relevant certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
KNOWLEDGE & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or financial management software.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within a team.
