Job Summary
The Direct Sales Agent will be responsible for driving product awareness, client acquisition, and investment mobilization among corps members across NYSC CDS venues and orientation camps. The role involves daily on-ground engagement, financial literacy sensitization, and consistent follow-up to convert prospects into active investors. You will serve as the key representative of the brand within the NYSC community, ensuring visibility, trust-building, and sustainable growth in retail investment portfolios.
Job Details
- Attend CDS activities daily to deliver compelling product presentations, engage corps members, and enhance brand visibility.
- Mobilize investments from corps members and actively promote all company investment products.
- Participate in NYSC camp visitations during each orientation exercise to drive sign-ups and client acquisition.
- Organize mini financial literacy sessions or investment clinics within CDS groups to educate corps members on savings, investments, and wealth creation.
- Build and manage a corps members database for ongoing communication, follow-up, and relationship management.
- Leverage social media platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, X/Twitter) to amplify product awareness and share testimonials or investment success stories.
- Coordinate weekly engagement reports detailing activities, leads generated, conversions, and feedback from corps members.
- Collaborate with local influencers or CDS leaders to improve participation and trust in the product.
- Identify and onboard corps member ambassadors who can serve as peer advocates for the product within their respective CDS groups.
- Assist in organizing promotional campaigns or contests (e.g., “Top Saver of the Month”) to drive engagement and referrals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in brand promotion, event coordination, or community engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to use social media platforms (Instagram, WhatsApp, X/Twitter) for brand storytelling and audience engagement.
- Creative thinker with a strong sense of initiative and attention to detail.
- Experience working with youth organizations, NGOs, or campus/outreach programs is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills with the ability to manage multiple activities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including during NYSC camp and CDS schedules.
