Job Summary

The role requires selling Equity products to institutional and retail clients, providing market insights, and maintaining strong client relationships. As an Equity Sales professional, you will work closely with the Trading and Research teams to ensure clients are receiving top-notch service and accurate market information. The Equity Sales will also support in conducting research, providing trading ideas, identifying new marketplace trends, executing client orders, ensuring risk management for Clients, and providing expert analysis on market conditions.

Job Details

  1. Deal origination and execution of trade mandates.
  2. Financial/Investment advice to clients and management.
  3. Generation of new clients and ability to profitably manage all clients.
  4. Reviewing equity transactions to make sure that trades conform to the regulations of SEC. Assist in the compilation and publication of Daily Market Update, Business Headlines, weekly stock recommendation and publication of Companies' results amongst others.
  5. Presentation of market analysis and reports to clients.
  6. Highly developed sales, persuasion, and negotiation skills, with strong client relationships. Take on sales of equity products to your own client base.
  7. Be responsible for delivering consistent daily coverage supported by our strong Research capability. Coverage of institutions for equity derivative products.
  8. Utilize analytical models, and market research tools to optimize execution and performance.
  9. Provide clients with market investment opportunities and identify revenue opportunities, maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or industry-relevant equivalent.
  2.  A minimum of 3 years industry experience, specifically in a Stock Broking Firm.
  3. CIS Certification is an added advantage.
  4. Experience in deal origination and execution of trade mandates.
  5. Experience managing HNI and Institutions portfolios.
